Personal Development & Career Enhancement Program |

With the help of GAP Inc., an initiative called Personnel Advancement and Career Enhancement (PACE) initiative was extended to women from ages 18 to 30 employed at EAM Maliban Group in Sri Lanka. By enhancing the capacity of the women employees, PACE aims to improve the quality of life of these workers both in the work place as well as with their personal and social circles. The goal is effective and more efficient work and this can help the organization to meet the goals and ensure continuous business growth as the company continues to strive for excellence. |

The PACE program was designed with the following elements: - Communication and negotiation Effective communication and negotiation skills can help in building team spirit as well as to improve social relationships with oneself and others. - Stress and time management By addressing these aspects, a formalized social and professional behavior is imbibed and this can result to efficiency in addressing work while ensuring that personal and professional aspects are kept separated and well maintained. - Problem solving and decision making Develop skills to help women in identifying problems and also in making healthy decisions. - Women and career progress Improve compatibility and social dignity in working environment. - Lifestyle enhancement and professional grooming Boost physical appearance for lifestyle enhancement. - Financial literacy To help women become more capable of handling their own financials and boost savings and investments - Reproductive and general health General and sexual health education
